Composer Bear McCreary Tapped for Blood Orgin Score

If you've been a fan of the sci fi genre and or just likely a nerd in general then you've probably heard some of Bear McCreary's work. In the 2000'a Bear made a huge name for himself as he was the lead composer for Sci-Fi's Battlestar Galactica! The composer has gone on to note how he enjoys working with different genre's of music which was clearly heard in the various themes of Battlestar Galactica.

Today Declan de Barra, the showrunner for The Witcher: Blood Origins, and a credited main writer on the flagship show, The Witcher, took to social media to announce that Bear McCreary would be the composer for the offshoot show. Back when The Witcher.tv was investigating The Witcher, we considered Bear McCreary as a candidate for the show's score. Glad to see Bear is joining the Witcher family! Show runner Barra has this to say:

I remember first watching Battlestar Galactica & being blown away. It had everything. AND THAT SOUNTRACK. When those taiko drums dropped I lost my mind. So I’m beyond excited the genius that is @bearmccreary is creating the soundtrack for The Witcher - Blood Origin. Fuck yeah!
