Netflix Aims to Release Season Two in Q4

Filming for The Witcher season two was recently completed after a series of COVID 19 related delays. Despite recasts due to scheduling conflicts and mandatory quarantine, fans only have to be a little more patient for its release.

According to Deadline, Netflix’s Co-CEO and Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos assured investors that season two will be one of the shows that will return in Q4:

“…We think we’ll get back to a much steadier state in the back half of the year, certainly in Q4 where we have the returning seasons of some of our most popular shows like The Witcher, You and Cobra Kai...”

Season one first aired on December 20th, 2019. While the specific air date for season two has not been revealed, fans are in for a holiday treat this year.
